Description:
The graduation
project EcoBeam Dimmer is a mechanical dimmer for
the Eventtechnik EcoBeam (a
spotlight equipped with metal vapor lamp). It is DMX 512 remote controlled and
has an internal end position detection to use the whole eight bit resolution of
DMX 512.
It was developed
to make the energy efficient metal vapor lamps dimmable because dimming them
electrically is impossible.
